About Us

Lakestart is a Lake County, Ohio 501c3 non profit organization to provide Lake County and Northeast Ohioans with a conduit for ideas and economic development to connect.

Our goal is to keep a local, transparent and realistic approach to opportunities through the utilization of voluntary Mentors and board members who have collectively had significant local and regional impact through entrepreneurship.

In Memory of Dr. Raymond C. Kralovic

Ray Kralovic, PhD, retired co-founder of Steris Corporation (STE on NYSE), received his MS in Environmental Microbiology from West Virginia University. Post retirement, Dr. Kralovic had worked as a consultant, Angel investor, and mentor for numerous startup companies.
