Martha Steward

She grew up in Northern New Jersey and made money to pay for college by being a model for companies like Chanel. At the age of 10 she babysat for the children of New York Yankee greats, Yogi Berra, and Mickey Mantle.   At 15 she appeared in commercials for Unilever. Then later was featured in one of the most famous ads in history… Tareyton’s “smokers would rather fight than switch”.

To put it mildly, Martha Stewart always pushed to succeed, even at that early age. After college she kept striving and started a catering business out of her Connecticut home. Then came several books, including her first blockbuster “Entertaining”.

Talk about being driven! And energetic!

Turning her talent for decorating and cooking into an empire, she’s now worth over $600 million.
